Since early 1940 when the oil exploration began, the State of Qatar has been emerged as an oil producing country on the world map. Before this milestone, the economy depended on fishing and up to some extends of pearl trade. The finding of Hydrocarbon brought about new opportunities setting a vibrant destiny for the people of Qatar.
Al Kholaifi brothers have insight looking forward into the future of modern Qatar and wanted to be part of the development of their country. These positive thinking emerged in solid shape while they formed Al kholaifi Trading Company in 1953 and introduced as suppliers of Industrial, Marine and Construction Machinery to public and private organizations.
The Company was set up with initial capital of 3 million Qatari Riyals and during the time period spanning over 50 years, has expended it’s wings to Real Estate business with the investment of over 90 Million Qatari Riyals. Being pioneer in the machinery hardware business, we have been consistently serving since 1953 and still known as one of the best machinery suppliers in the country.
